Thomas Bolland CPA, CA
Tom is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2000. He has continually taken many professional accounting since founding Bolland Associates in 2006. He is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Ontario.
Before establishing his own firm, Tom worked in both public accounting and industry. He worked as an Auditor with PKF Hill (now Grant Thornton – Toronto) and Powell Jones (Barrie) , and Director of Taxation, Controller & Treasurer for Ash Temple Ltd. (now Henry Schein).
Tom currently serves on the Ontario Sailing Audit and Finance committees. He has served as an Executive Board Member for various community organizations; St Mary’s Parish (Barrie), ShareLife (Toronto), David Busby Street Center, Barrie Yacht Club and Ontario Sailing.
Tom concentrates in the areas of entrepreneurial / small business consulting, business acquisitions, corporate and personal income taxes, and estate taxation. When not in the office, Tom will be sailing and has been known to travel frequently for international sailing regattas with his family.
Aida Pinzon
Aida has a formal education in Computer Sciences, and previously owned and successfully ran her own manufacturing company for several years. Later she changed paths and moved into accounting, pursuing and completing a Business Studies certificate at Georgian College.
Aida joined Bolland Associates in early 2008. With years of experience in accounting and taxation, Aida is fully equipped and ready to assist her clients comfortably, whether it be regarding accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and preparations for audits with the utmost dexterity.
Aida loves her job and enjoys the ever-changing circumstances that present constant learning opportunities, challenges and room for growth as it is always her goal to best fulfill her clients expectations.
When she isn’t at the office, Aida can be seen riding her bicycle alongside her husband, hiking the local trails, and downhill skiing in the winter, although she has a newly-found passion for stand-up-paddleboarding.
Chantelle Bright
Chantelle has several year’s experience working in a bookkeeping environment. Chantelle recently completed her bookkeeping certificate at Georgian College and will continue to work towards a diploma in Business Administration in accounting. Chantelle is a new member of the Bolland Associates team and looks forward to learning and advancing her knowledge in the accounting field.
Chantelle has an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
